Mowers and Mulchers

Tractor mowers are divided into two main types - mulching and haymaking. Mulching mowers shred vegetation into small particles and scatter it for subsequent decomposition. They are usually equipped with gearboxes that increase the rotation speed in a ratio close to 1 to 2, and their working elements are knives or chains with horizontal rotation. The second type of mowers are called rotary and cut the grass from below, preserving the cut for subsequent drying and collection.
